Innovation in council housebuilding
13 November 2018
A new LGA report draws together the experience of councils who are up and running with council housebuilding programmes.
It includes detailed case studies from across the country as well as an analysis of the process councils have gone through to get programmes off the ground. While the focus of the report is on building low cost social housing
it also looks at the broader context of councils as housing “enablers”.
It is presented as an online web resource so that readers can make full use of the wealth of information and analysis uncovered in the study of council led innovation.
