World Mental Health Day 2019: “Just Ask” campaign

World Mental Health Day is 10th October.  This year the theme is suicide prevention.

According to the World Health Organisation, more than 800,000 people die by suicide a year across the globe, making it the principal cause of death among people fifteen to twenty-nine years old.

Research has shown that simply asking someone how they are feeling can make all the difference.

Wirral CAMHS and other organisations are running a “Just Ask” campaign to raise awareness.  To take part, do something arts-based (a picture, photograph, dance, drama… whatever you like) and take a picture.

Send this to cwp.WirralPMHW@nhs.net and they will build you photograph into a montage that will be presented in Children’s Mental Health Week in February 2020.
