The ‘local voice’ puts residents and communities at the heart of developing Wirral as safe, happy and healthy place to live. Engagement with residents is crucial to understanding resident needs, expectations and experiences and ensuring their involvement in key decisions about Wirral.
A range of different types of consultations are carried out by many organisations across the Wirral Partnership. Findings are used in a number of different ways including to assess if proposals for change are right, to understand views on the quality of services residents receive and to put in place improvements and to challenge assumptions. Organisations are joining together to ask residents once rather than a number of times and are using this information to jointly plan integrated approaches to benefit residents.
This ‘local voice’ within the website provides a range of local engagement and involvement examples to share the findings about what local people think about particular topics.
