Annual social care report published by King’s Fund

A new report from the King’s Fund, Social Care 360, highlights how adult requests for social care have hit a record high of two million and social care vacancies are at their highest ever level, despite the arrival of 70 thousand overseas workers. It outlines the change 2022/23 saw to recent trends in publicly funded adult social care, when more people were requesting support, but fewer were receiving it.
